Bio:
Sarah Tsai is a Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Labs, and she graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Sarah’s journey at Sandia began as a year-round intern working on neural networks to classify gamma spectra for nuclear arms control verification. She currently works on the Structural Simulation Toolkit (SST) team, developing programs for simulation analysis and visualization. Sarah is also involved with the development and application of generative AI techniques for DOE ASC mission use cases. Before coming to Sandia, Sarah conducted research at the Center for Computational Oncology on novel differential equations to predict the growth and treatment of triple-negative breast cancer cells.
