Dr. Kristian Ehlert is a R&D Data scientist for the Maelstrom project (EuroHPC) at 4cast. He works as an AI developer and co-leads the development of the workflow tool Mantik that provides AI researchers with easy access to HPC. As both user and developer, his personal focus is on improving the user experience of the platform. His research project uses NLP techniques to extract weather observations from Tweets with the aim of improving weather predictions. In addition, he strives to improve workflows and models at 4cast.
