Dr. Daniel Milroy

Daniel Milroy is a computer scientist at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Dan holds a BA in physics from the University of Chicago and a PhD in computer science from the University of Colorado Boulder. His background is in numerical analysis and software quality assurance and correctness for climate simulations.
Dan’s current research focuses on graph-based scheduling, dynamic resource representation, and management of high-performance computing (HPC) and cloud-converged environments. He leads a research project at LLNL on resource management and scheduling of converged computing environments. Dan is a co-recipient of an R&D 100 award in 2021 for the Flux Framework.
