Andreas Fink

Bio:
I have finished my masters degree in industrial mathematics at University Kaiserslautern before starting my career at the Fraunhofer ITWM research center in Germany. There I discovered my passion for HPC computing and changed my position to work at CSCS Switzerland as software engineer. My work is comprised of scientific code optimization for both CPU and GPU. Lately I moved towards sustainable software development practices, where I am developing a CI/CD service for CSCS’
users.
A performant, generally usable and maintainable code is important to me, that is why I focus my work to these three aspects.
